The original 4WD locking hub on certain Ford and Lincoln SUVs and pickups often fails due to the brittle sintered shift dial breaking, or the rubber diaphragm dry-rotting over time. This OE FIX solution features a reinforced shift dial that is 40 percent stronger than the factory design, as well as an improved diaphragm made of HNBR rubber with anti-ozone, anti-oxidation and UV-resistant additives to help prevent future failures.
